  • You are an exceptional Product Designer with solid commercial experience under their belt designing for user- focused websites
  • You thrive on hands-on design work, driving the development and delivery of effective designs whilst advocating design thinking across the organisation
  • You champion user-focused design, running user research, interviews, and surveys to understand user behaviour, designing solutions that create the most value
  • You are a great communicator, leading workshops to brainstorm design solutions and understanding stakeholder insights

Your responsibilities will include

  • Driving the development and delivery of effective designs across the entire lifecycle:
    ideation > sketching > wireframing > prototyping > user testing > delivery
  • Ensuring we have a vision for creating the best user experience we can
  • Delivering pixel perfect designs for our new features and products, as well as iterative designs throughout the product lifecycle
  • Conducting user interviews, surveys, usability studies, and other types of research
  • Understanding the technical limitations of our platform and working with developers to deliver designs that overcome them
  • Managing our design library and systems
  • Stewardship of the company brand, ensuring we are always adhering to and responsibly evolving the brand visual identity

Your experience

  • Demonstrated experience with end-to-end (UX and UI) product design
  • Ideally you will have experience in online marketplaces or C2C (consumer to consumer) websites
  • Fluency in translating stakeholder goals, user research, and complex user flows into simple UIs
  • Strong fundamentals in interaction design, typography, colour and strong attention to detail
  • Expert user of Sketch / Adobe / prototyping tools
  • Solid experience of user research and expert knowledge of UX principles
  • Staying ahead of mobile and desktop best practices, developments and trends
  • Excellent communication and team collaboration skills
  • Comfortable with data, gathering insights to feed into our design decisions
  • Engaged with the design community – Meetups etc.
